Welcome

I am currently accepting new clients.

My mission is to ensure quality care and improve your life through teaching, coaching, and practicing skills in session to apply daily.
I believe that family of origin plays an essential role in our life experience.  Our thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and personality are shaped by early experiences in our families.

I treat the following:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Eating Disorders
  • Child and  Adolescent Behavioral Issues

For a family member with an eating disorder, I would recommend family therapy and participation in a family meal.   This technique is used in the Maudsley Approach.  You can find out more information about this approach at www.maudsleyparents.org.

Eating Disorders Support Group for individuals struggling and working towards recovering from Bulimia, Anorexia, Binge Eating, Compulsive or Overeating and poor body image.   The group is confidential and provides a safe space for you to share your story.  The structure of the group is made up of 18 to 45 year old men and women. To commence each  group there may be an inspirational  reading, a new development in eating disorder research or current event, or an individual of the group may talk on a particular topic.  Mainly the group is  intended to give everyone a chance to talk and receive support.

For more information and/or register for the group(s) please contact Courtney Westin, LCMFT at 240-565-1169 or admin@cd4therapy.com.  Space is limited.
